Lindsay McKerrow Linda McKerrow   DSC_1520

Lindsay and Linda McKerrow are both HCPC Registered Podiatrists and between them have over 65 years experience working in both the NHS and private practice.

They both qualified from the Glasgow School of Chiropody and are both HCPC Registered Practitioners. They are members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, the Scottish Private Practitioners Group and regularly attend CPD events and training courses to keep abreast of new developments in their field of expertise.

Mr McKerrow was involved in setting up the Highland Institute of Sport after attaining a Masters degree in sports injury and therapy in 2001 and was its Sports Medicine Co-ordinator, he is presently  its Consultant Sports Podiatrist.  He has recently been admitted as a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (August 2016).

Prior to joining the practice on a full time basis in 2007 Linda worked for the NHS and was latterly head of Podiatry for NHS Highland.

Claire McKerrow BSc Pod, MChS, HCPC Registered is based at our Edinburgh Practice. Claire graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and is a second generation podiatrist following in the footsteps of both parents. She is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is HCPC registered. Claire also regularly attends CPD events and training courses to keep up to date with the latest developments in her field.

It is important to ensure your podiatrist is qualified and is registered with the HCPC. Letters to look out for:

  • MChS/FChS — Member/Fellow of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists
  • DPodM — Diploma in Podiatric Medicine
  • FCPodS — Podiatric Surgeon
  • BSc/BSc (Hons) — Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine
  • MSc- Master of Science
